Säkkipilli (-)
Bagpipe, mouth-blown: nr. of stocks? (chanter type? / [additional] drones? [in ? stocks])
From "säkki" [bag] + "pilli" [whistle]; Also used as a generic term for all kinds of bagpipes, Finnish or otherwise; NB¹: Instead of referring to its entry (in Scots Gaelic [!]) on the Great Hieland Bagpipe [which it calls a "stub", oddly asking for "help to expand it" (State: Oct. 2025 !)], Wikipedia unnecessarily mainly provides information about that instrument (moreover including - rather enigmatically - an illustration of "The Bagpiper" by the 17th century Dutch painter Hendrick ter Brugghen), before paying rather limited attention to the bagpipes in the Nordic countries (➺ "Säkkipilli Pohjoismaissa"), NB²: Moreover, the b/w photo, taken in 1912 [?], by A.O. Väisänen during his trip to Setumaa, shows Estonian piper Atro Tõnu [?-?; No biographical details detected (yet)] with his Torupill !!!; NB³: Confusion regarding the year in which the photo was taken, is explained on the Finna.fi website.
