1st variation of the Ùrlar (➺ Dithis); A slightly faster "movement", in which the theme notes from the Ùrlar are selected to form the melodic basis for the rest of the Pìobaireachd.

The actual Siubhal consists of a 2-note rising figure: [each/1?] of the selected theme notes is preceded by a low A.
